Child safety
An educational product designed with parents at the center
MiniGenius AI helps children explore the world with Momo, a gentle and curious educational panda. Safety is not an absolute promise: it is an ongoing design choice guiding language, data collection, limits, payments, and the role of adults.
Parents remain the reference point
Momo does not replace parents, teachers, or real-life friends. The account, child profiles, limits, language, and billing are always managed by the parent. Sensitive actions stay inside the adult area.
Age-appropriate content
MiniGenius AI is designed for children aged 4 to 8: short answers, simple words, concrete examples, and a curious tone. Momo should encourage wonder, healthy questions, and a desire to learn, not become an unlimited source with no boundaries.
No identifying child data
The child profile uses a nickname, age range, language, and minimal preferences. We do not ask for a real name, school, city, address, phone number, photos, or free-text notes. We do not store child audio or plain-text conversation transcripts.
When a question is delicate
Momo is designed not to improvise on sensitive topics such as intense fear, pain, adult content, violence, personal data, or distress signals. In those cases, it redirects the child toward mom, dad, or a trusted adult; critical events may trigger a parent alert without including the child's text.
Useful activity, privacy-safe
The parent dashboard shows useful metadata: duration, message count, aggregated topics, and safety flags. It does not show full transcripts. The goal is to give parents control without turning the child's conversation into a personal text archive.
